About openapi2mcp
openapi2mcp exists because maintaining two descriptions of the same API — one for humans and clients (OpenAPI), one for AI agents (MCP tools) — is work nobody signed up for. Your spec already says what the operations are, what parameters they take, and how they authenticate. The converter turns that description into a readable TypeScript project on the official MCP SDK, ready for Claude Desktop, Cursor, and any other MCP client.
The same rules apply on every page: your spec is parsed in memory and never stored; authentication is included, mapped to environment variables in the generated project; and generated servers are read-only by default, exposing only GET operations until you explicitly allow writes.
